Ø       Randy has become a best-selling author, and is known for turning the brain research into practical applications for teachers and leaders in his books.  He has recently authored two new books and a fold-out resource guide for each of the books.  One book is DIFFERENTIATED LEADERSHIP- -LEADERSHIP FOR THE WHOLE SCHOOL which is where practical meets brain-based in a synthesis of strategies designed to meet the needs of High School and Middle School leadership teams.  The other book is for Middle Level Teams and High School Academies titled GET FIT!  THE PERSONAL TRAINER FOR ACADEMIC TEAMS.  Get Fit looks at 15 essential components of teams and academies and is designed to be used by teams and academies for their own professional development.  Both of theses books are described in detail in the Resources and Materials Section of this website.  Randy also created a quick-reference fold-out titled Differentiated Leadership- -Differentiated Leadership for the Whole School Quick Reference Guide which has some of the forms and information from the book for leaders to have at their finger tips.  There is also a fold-out THE TEAMING ASSESSMENT which assesses 15 areas of team and academy performance.  The book GET FIT!  THE PERSONAL TRAINER FOR ACADEMIC TEAMS is cross-referenced with THE TEAMING ASSESSMENT

Randy has also co-authored three best selling books.  “FIRE UP FOR LEARNING!” is a book of motivational activities for teachers to help them differentiate instruction while firing up their students.  "MIDDLE SCHOOL MATTERS " is a book where Randy and other authors created classroom activities and lessons based on songs we selected by Monte Selby.  You also get a CD with the songs with the book!   “WOW WHAT A TEAM!” was Randy's first book and is a book of practical strategies for middle school teams or high school academies.  (Please Note: the new book GET FIT!  THE PERSONAL TRAINER FOR ACADEMIC TEAMS was designed to be much more detailed than WOW What A Team and is the Teaming/Academy book Randy would recommend).

Randy has also written several articles for publication in various journals.

Note:  Randy has recently submitted the manuscript for a new book titled "iSAPs Individual Student Assistance Plans - - The Owner's Manual for Student Success".  You can read more on the Resources Page about the book.  Randy will be happy to share the manuscript with any school Randy is working with.
